The PayScan® “Smart Barcode”
At the heart of the PayScan® solution is a patented barcode technology: A “smart barcode” is used for fully-automated payment validation and processing. This avoids the need for manual intervention or human decision-making – which are not acceptable delays in the checkout lane.
This positive validation of payment transactions is how a particular payment barcode can be automatically distinguished from the many barcoded coupons, shipping labels, and other documents that appear today in retail commerce.
