Louis J. Krouse – CEO
With more than 24 years in the payments industry, Lou holds three patents in payment processing areas. In 1996 he earned an MBA from Pepperdine University (summa cum laude), becoming a member of the National Business Honor Society. He served as an adjunct professor at the Stern School of Business and was elected Chair of the Center for Entrepreneurship at New York University. He was elected Inc. Magazine's National Entrepreneur of the Year, awarded by Merrill Lynch and Ernst & Young, and holds the first National Business Enterprise Award, judged by Warren Buffet and a panel of other industry titans. Lou has appeared on Good Morning America and Today, and has given lengthy interviews to Bill Moyers, Paula Zahn, FNN, NBC and CBS. He has had national articles written about his business ventures in many publications, including Forbes and Fortune, as well as newspapers such as The Washington Post and The New York Times, and has authored chapters in books such as "Aiming Higher" and "Maverick". Two of his business cases are being used today at Harvard University. Lou has previously founded six payment enterprises, all sold off before founding Pacific Payment Systems Inc., a California corporation, and PayScan America Inc. Lou remains one of the nation's foremost authorities on consumer payments. Lou also holds a United States patent central to the PayScan® process.

Gregory L. Hrncir – Director
Gregg has served as securities and corporate counsel for a broad range of private and publicly traded companies, principally focusing on emerging growth technology companies. Gregg has a wealth of experience regarding IPOs, M&A transactions, structuring companies and transactions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, '34 Act public company reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He earned a bachelor's degree at Arizona State University and a law degree from Whittier Law School. Gregg is licensed with the Arizona and California State Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles County Bar Associations and multiple philanthropic and business organizations.

John F. Meyer – CTO
John designed and developed a unique payment system and back-room support systems for a bar-coded payment process, for which he was awarded a U.S. patent in 2006. He also developed a second patented process that automates new financial services. As VP/CTO for Direct Express he developed payment systems utilizing image recognition technology, developed payment devices and was responsible for back-room finance operations and network management. Direct Express processed for more than 5,000 billers nationally, with a throughput of 1 million payments annually. As VP/CTO of PayStation America Inc. John managed and developed image-based, front-end and back-room payment systems. As a systems architect and designer for Cisco Systems, he was a team developer of high-speed, PC-based multi-protocol hardware and software which won PC Magazine's Most efficient multi-protocol router of the year award for five consecutive years. As a project manager at Control Data Corporation, he led team development of the XDI controller, which transparently coupled two dissimilar network communications architectures (IBM SNA and CDC DNS) as peer network resources. The controller was awarded a U.S. patent. John is also a founder of Pacific Payment Systems Inc., a California corporation, and PayScan America Inc.

Robert F. Gielow – CFO
Robert is an operations-oriented financial executive with both corporate and entrepreneurial experience. He has expertise in process/systems development, acquisition integration, and business consolidations. He has worked with independent business owners to improve their profitability, focusing on developing business plans and strategy, realigning manpower, improving processes, and integrating acquisitions. Robert has served as CFO of two developmental-stage companies involved in delivering electronic payment services. He was also CFO for Kinko's Inc., where he managed multiple disciplines including finance/accounting, information technology, distribution services and national billing/accounts receivable. In addition, he was VP of Finance & Operations for Print Technology, Inc., VP & General Manager for Financial & Communication Services, and held key management assignments with Xerox Corporation. He holds multiple master's degrees from University of Missouri and Washington University in St. Louis. Robert also attended the Navy Officer Candidate School, served as a Navy officer, and taught at the Corps School in Athens, Georgia.

Trevor R. Hanson – VP Technology
Trevor has over thirty years in the software industry, in many technology and business settings. In 1980, he left computer timesharing vendor National CSS with legendary technical marketeer Larry Smith to form Hanson-Smith, Ltd., a small consultancy. On hundreds of projects, he helped solve problems for clients ranging from Fortune 100 giants to startups. In a given year, work would range from technical assignments (software product design/development, messaging architectures, test protocols, process troubleshooting) to consulting (technical audits, acquisition Due Diligence, facilitating JAD sessions) to strategic planning (writing business plans, product line positioning, business reengineering). On a multi-year infrastructure management project, he worked closely with public utilities and utility software vendors. Hands-on work has involved diverse technologies, from operating system development to financial modeling, and includes object-oriented and messaging technology research that began in the 1970s. Consulting has given Trevor insight into many business challenges; along the way, Trevor met Lou in the 1980s, with whom he has studied many facets of payment processing.

A. Christopher Hall – Director of Development
Chris has more than 27 years of extensive professional software system architecture and programming experience, including operating systems, real-time and multitasking applications, databases and database applications, interactive Web sites and their supporting software, networking, communications, compilers, and all types of user and system tools. He is proficient in a great variety of programming languages and tools. Chris designed, developed and supported a large-scale distributed transaction processing system for the Fast Pay bill payments network, PayStation, and Direct Express. He has been published in many journals, and wrote a programmer's manual used all over the world. Chris has published numerous papers, manuals, publications, and books on a wide variety of software solutions and systems throughout his career. He has a master's and a doctoral degree in computer science, and bachelor's degrees in physics and mathematics, all from George Washington University.
